"Passionate, committed and daring, Tasdance has worked with the who"s who of contemporary Australian choreography." Sidney Myer Foundation
Artery
Presented by Tasdance

Which direction? North … South … East … West?

Tasdance brings together four emerging choreographers for an evening of new contemporary dance at its best.

These new commissions will focus around and chart the four points of the compass.

Artery is a programme that invites audiences to be touched by the physicality and inventiveness of talented artists on the rise.

A vital force in Tasmanian arts and a valuable player in the Australian dance landscape, Tasdance is a dynamic company playing a leading role in the development of choreographers, dancers and audiences for dance.

Nationally renowned, Tasdance won the Sidney Myer Peforming Arts Award in 2008.

Trisha Dunn is such an extraordinary dancer I can"t wait to see this, and its exciting to see four works in one night and all from new choreographic voices
